How SecurOS® UVSS Technology Works

SecurOS® UVSS

Automated Under-Vehicle Surveillance That Cuts Inspection Time and Improves Security Consistency.

SecurOS® UVSS captures and analyzes the underside of a vehicle as it drives over a ground-embedded scanner. The solution creates a complete, high-resolution panoramic image of the undercarriage and immediately processes it using AI to detect anomalies or suspicious modifications.

Instead of taking a single photo, the solution uses line-scan imaging. As the vehicle moves forward, the camera captures thousands of narrow image lines that are stitched together in real time, producing a detailed and continuous image without blind spots.

The entire process happens in seconds. Operators receive a clear visual image with highlighted areas of concern, enabling fast and consistent decision-making while maintaining checkpoint throughput.

Applications

How SecurOS® UVSS Serves Key Markets

SecurOS® UVSS adapts to different operational environments by balancing security depth with operational continuity. Its value changes slightly by sector, but the core advantage remains the same: intelligent, automated under-vehicle inspection without slowing critical workflows.

  • Airports – Fast Inspections Without Disrupting Operations

Airports operate under strict security regulations while managing constant vehicle flow: fuel trucks, catering vehicles, maintenance fleets, and logistics traffic. SecurOS® UVSS allows these vehicles to be inspected as they move through controlled access points without requiring stops for manual checks.

    The solution:

    → Performs inspections in seconds

→Integrates with airport access control and LPR systems

→Creates a digital inspection record for compliance audits

→Reduces dependency on manual mirror inspections

This ensures security screening remains rigorous while maintaining airside operational efficiency.

Airports – Fast Inspections Without Disrupting Operations
  • Ports – Consistent Inspections While Keeping Cargo Moving

Seaports handle high volumes of trucks, containers, and cross-border cargo where delays translate directly into financial impact. SecurOS® UVSS supports continuous scanning at entry gates without interrupting freight throughput.

In port environments, the system provides:

→ Automated anomaly detection for trucks and container carriers

→ High-resolution documentation for customs or border control

→ Integration with gate management and logistics systems

→ Scalable deployment across multiple lanes

The result is standardized inspections at scale, improving security without creating bottlenecks.

Ports – Consistent Inspections While Keeping Cargo Moving
  • Government Facilities – Standardized Processes with Full Traceability

Government buildings, military bases, and critical infrastructure sites require controlled, auditable vehicle screening. SecurOS® UVSS introduces a digital, standardized inspection protocol that eliminates subjectivity.

    Key benefits include:

    → Stored undercarriage image archives

    → Historical vehicle comparison capabilities

    → Time-stamped inspection logs

    → Forensic-grade documentation for investigations

This transforms vehicle screening into a measurable, policy-driven security process with complete traceability.

Government Facilities – Standardized Processes with Full Traceability
  • Stadiums & Large Venues – Flexible Deployments for Event-Driven Security

Large venues experience fluctuating security demands depending on event size and risk level. SecurOS® UVSS supports both permanent and semi-permanent installations, allowing operators to scale security based on event requirements.

    For venues, the system enables:

→ Rapid screening of broadcast trucks, vendor vehicles, and service fleets

→ Temporary high-security configurations for major events

→ Integration with venue command centers

→ Faster vehicle clearance to prevent entry congestion

This allows security teams to elevate inspection standards during high-profile events without disrupting visitor experience.
